31 Jan 2008 - Plaza Hotel in Sliema, takes delivery of 2 Pcs for the Kemmunet Guest Internet service in their new wing. This is Phase 1 to provide guests with ADSL access. Now guests at the Plaza can enjoy staying in touch with their home countries, via email and Instant Messaging ,while here on holiday. Keeps the kids busy. Phase 2 will be providing a facility for ADSL connections in guest bedrooms for those who wish to use a laptop. A convenient service for business travelers.
15 Feb 2008 - Plaza Hotel in Sliema ,we completed Phase 2 of the scheme to provide the facility for ADSL Internet service in 20 guest bedrooms. Now any guest who arrives at the hotel with a laptop Pc can access the Internet from the comfort of their room to browse , email chat etc.
26 March 2008 - Freedom Day public holiday - office closed. Please note our office will be closed from 5 pm on Friday 28th March to 8:30 am on Tuesday 1st April 2008. In cases of urgent calls where Customer support is required, messages may be left on our answering service on 21489002. Leave a brief, clear message stating: your name, your telephone number, your login number, details of the problem. The answering service will be checked daily in the morning and again in the afternoon. Urgent calls will be dealt with and attended to.
17 April 2008 - Kemmunet launches new email back up service - offered to all Maltese companies. Presently your emails are delivered via your ISP's spam filter server. However your domain name has no backup MX records to accept your emails, and thus in case of an outage to the ISP's spam server the emails are lost. With Kemmunet's 'Backup MX 'service your emails will be stored onto the backup mail server for upto 10 days, enough time for your ISP's problem to be resolved. 29 April 2008 - Workers' Day public holiday - Our office will be closed from 5 pm on Wednesday 30th April to 8:30 am on Monday 5th May 2008.
30 May 2008 - We are pleased to announce entering into agreements with 2 new clients on the guest internet service provision scheme. The prestigious Halland Hotel ( Part of Tumas Group) will be start offering hotel guests use of 2 Pcs in the main lobby area. A new Language school in Swieqi, International House (Malta & Gozo) ,teaching English as a foreign language ,will be offering their clients access on 8 Pcs in their new Pc lab.
