Team Leader
Systems Design & Engineering Unit
We seek an individual with a good command of medium-to-large scale IT system design and the qualities required to transform opportunities into projects.
Required Qualities
- Engineering or IT degree (B.Eng, B.Sc IT) with minimum 3 years experience in a presales or heterogeneous technical position
- The ability to absorb large amounts of technical information in short periods of time
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and ensure that the Systems Design & Engineering Unit together with the marketing Executive develop offerings and provide customers with solutions
- The ability to be of guidance and leadership to the Systems Design & Engineering Unit in the execution of projects, contracts and support functions
- Fluent and articulate with excellent presentation and technical writing skills
- Be prepared to travel abroad for training and/or work if necessary
Preferred Qualities
- Sun Solaris /Linux exposure or expertise
- Experience with IP-based routing and switching platforms from Cisco Systems, or competing market players
- Exposure or experience with FC /SAS-based storage systems from Sun Microsystems or competing market players
- A post-graduate diploma or degree in a business discipline (MBA , etc) will be valuable in the execution of duties
